"Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths " (Proverbs 3:5, 6).

Have you ever been in a situation where nothing seemed to be going right and there appeared to be no way out of a predicament you were in? Have you ever felt like you were at the end of your rope? You look to God in prayer and say "help get me out of this mess", and He replies, "trust Me". If you're anything like me that response was not the one you were looking for.

The scripture tells us that we are to "Trust in the Lord." What does that mean to us, how can we apply that when we "feel" we just can't go on? The word trust means to entirely put our confidence and faith in Him, to lean on and to rely upon Him. The scripture tell us to do this with ALL of our heart. How hard that seems to be when we view situations from our perceptive and not His.

Your loving heavenly Father desires to be involved in every area of your life, no matter how small or unimportant it seems He wants to show you His plan of prosperity and rest. He wants to reveal to you who you are in Him. When you trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding, acknowledging Him in all your ways He will direct your paths.
