Praise The Lord

“Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.  Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.  For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations” (Psalms 100:1-5, NIV).

Praising and giving God thanks for all He has done should be a normal part of every believer’s life. But I do realize it can be difficult to do at times especially if it seems your life is just falling apart.

Perhaps you are on the verge of a divorce, battling with an illness or struggling with a situation that seems hopeless.  But let me share with you that God is still on the throne and has everything under control.  He sees your situation and He will take care of you because you belong to Him.  Understand that praising God will help take your mind off your present circumstance and give you the strength needed to go on in spite of it.

Remember the Lord even in the midst of your trials and bless His name.  Be thankful for what he has already done and begin to praise Him for what He will do.
